On Friday, 27th March the United States of America released an official 5 year strategy to combat antibacterial resistance. The move comes after the recognition of antibacterial resistance as a major global health threat, and the 2016 budget proposal released in January that proposes $1.2 billion (USD) funding for antibiotic resistance.
