Driving reinvestment in R&D for antibiotics and advocating their responsible use

PACCARB Public Meeting

 

The Presidential Advisory Council on Combating Antibiotic-Resistant Bacteria held a public meeting in Washington, D.C. on 21-22 June, 2016.  The first day was dedicated to presentations from federal and non-federal stakeholders surrounding topic areas related to incentives for the development of vaccines, diagnostics, and therapeutics, and DRIVE-AB participant Kevin Outterson gave a talk on “Economic Incentives for Antibiotics: the DRIVE-AB Approach”. The second day focused on the topic of the environment and antibiotic-resistance.
